Ice Skating at Clinton Square
Syracuse (Tuesday, December 30, 6-8 PM):  Join us for our annual ice skate at the Clinton Square outdoor ice arena.  Skate under the stars and the twinkling Christmas lights with your fellow pack members.  We have reservations for the warming room at the ice rink for 6-8 PM and we have a special price for admission - $3.00 per person includes skate rental but we need to identify ourselves at members of Pack 234 to get the special rate.   NEW THIS YEAR:  At 4 PM Pat Grady will lead an optional hour long urban hike downtown to observe history, architecture and Christmas décor.  At 5 PM Chris Iven will take over at the Salina Street entrance of the Syracuse Newspapers to lead an hour long tour of the building.  At 6 PM we will begin skating for the evening.  Refreshments (pizza, cocoa, etc.) are available at the rink snack bar.  If the weather is bad we will skip the urban hike but still have the newspaper tour and skate.   Jack will invite Troop 114 to join us and Nancy has invited her Brownie troop to come as well. See you there!

Derby Season Movie Night
Aspen House (Sunday, January 18, 6:30 PM):  Bring your sleeping bags and pillows and wear your jammies!  It will be "Down and Derby" this year.  We'll provide the popcorn and lemonade.  Our 4th annual Movie Night is a Derby season tradition!

Pinewood Derby
Aspen House (Saturday, January 24th, 1:00 PM):  It's the annual running of the Derby!  Registration and weigh-in is from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM.  Racing starts at 1:00 PM.  Pack provides pizza and lemonade, you provide the car.  Track and scales will be available Friday night from 7:30-8 PM and Saturday morning from 10-11 AM.  Derby rules are available online (.doc file).  Drivers start your engines!

M.O.S.T. Webelos Overnight
Museum of Science and Technology, Syracuse (Saturday-Sunday, February 7-8):  Join other Webelo scouts in the Hiawatha Seaway Council for an overnight campout indoors in the Museum.  A full evening of special activites are planned to help boys earn their Scientist Activity badge.  Also applies towards the Arrow of Light requirements.  The flyer is available online (.doc file).  This event is not to be missed!
